This replacement self-adjusting electric brake assembly is designed for the right-hand (passenger) side of trailers and RVs. The self-adjusting mechanism activates during every forward stop, potentially reducing stopping distance by up to 50% and preventing premature wear of brake linings and magnets. It maintains consistent brake-to-drum clearance for reliable performance. The assembly includes pre-installed studs, linings bonded to shoes with automotive-grade friction material, durable magnets, and adjuster plugs for protection against debris. Backing plates have an E-coat finish for rust resistance. It requires an electric brake controller (sold separately) and is compatible with all standard or aftermarket controllers.
