Harmonic Balancer Bolt

The ARP Harmonic Balancer Bolt (part number 234-2503) serves as a high-strength, reusable replacement for the factory crankshaft bolt on GM LS and LT engine platforms. The OEM bolt is a torque-to-yield design that must be replaced if removed. In contrast, the ARP bolt can be torqued to specification and reused. Constructed from high-grade materials, this ARP bolt boasts a tensile strength of 200,000 psi, making it substantially stronger than the original equipment bolt. It features a 12-point head that accepts a deep socket for secure tightening and comes with a thick, wide-area washer. This harmonic balancer bolt is compatible with a wide range of GM Gen 3/4 LS engines, including those with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L displacements. It also fits Gen 5 LT engines. However, it is important to note that this bolt does NOT fit dry sump engine applications. Additionally, it will not fit LS7 engines.
