The Fluidampr viscous torsional damper is an engineered solution for high-performance 3.0 V6 TSI Supercharged Audi and Volkswagen engines, addressing common issues such as failing OEM crankshaft accessory pulleys. It serves as a direct replacement for the stock crank pulley and effectively controls engine harmonics across the entire RPM range. This damper is constructed from durable steel with a black zinc plating for corrosion resistance. It meets SFI 18.1 certification and is manufactured under ISO 9001:2008 standards. Designed in Canada and manufactured in North America, the Fluidampr features a modular design with six equally spaced M8 x 1.25 threaded holes on an 81mm bolt circle. This allows for easy installation of larger supercharger drive pulleys for upgraded performance stages (Stage 1 through Stage 3+). Installation involves mounting the Fluidampr to the crankshaft hub bolt per OEM specifications, ensuring the drive ring is seated flush. The six M8 x 1.25 countersunk socket cap screws should be torqued to 22Nm. The standard 162mm diameter ensures it does not over or under drive accessories, maintaining proper function for daily driving. Applications for this damper include various Audi models such as the B8/B8.5 A4, S4, S5, SQ5, C7 A6, C7 A7, D4 A8, and Q7 (4L/4M), as well as the Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid (7P5) and Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid (92A), all equipped with the 3.0 V6 TSI Supercharged engine (engine codes CAKA, CGWA, CGWB, CGWC, CGWD, CGXB, CTUA, CMDA).
