Harmonic Balancer with Crank Pulley Rings

The Metco Motorsports Interchangeable Crank Pulley Kit is a Super Duty balancer and pulley ring assembly for GM LSA engines, designed for the 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V and 2012-2015 Camaro ZL1. This kit provides a straightforward method to increase boost and horsepower on supercharged vehicles without requiring permanent modifications. At the core of this kit is the SFI-approved Innovator's West balancer, which is precision-machined in the USA. It directly replaces the factory balancer, significantly reducing rotating mass. The standard Innovator's West balancer and crank ring assembly weighs 12.6 lbs, compared to the factory steel unit's 16.2 lbs. This reduction, combined with the wet clutch harmonic dampening technology found in Innovators West balancers, contributes to improved engine performance. The kit features CNC-machined crank pulley rings that attach to the balancer with provided fasteners. Adjusting the boost level is simplified to changing the outer ring by removing six socket-head fasteners. Various crank pulley ring sizes are available to fine-tune boost levels. A note specifies that while 8.60" and 9.10" pulley rings are compatible with the original 70mm crank idler pulley, larger sizes (9.55", 10.00", and 10.50") require the use of Metco's crank idler pulley relocation bracket (PN MRB1000). Included in this kit is the Super Duty Hub Upgrade, recommended for vehicles producing 750 HP or more. A new seal for the front cover is provided to accommodate the larger hub. The balancer itself is identified by the Innovator's West part number 840/1000SD.
