The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have better pedal feel and more consistent performance in a durable brake pad that generates less brake dust.

The Hawk Performance HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Autocross and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads. HP Plus utilizes a unique Ferro-Carbon, High-Tech friction material that was developed and manufactured for sport driving in autocross, Solo II, and track day applications. The Ferro-Carbon formulation offers lower wear rates and higher torque values than other competitive materials. HP Plus is popular with enthusiasts that are looking for excellent street performance or wanting take their car auto-crossing or to a track day and not have to worry about changing pads. The HP Plus will provide a very noticeable increase in brake torque and temperature range when compared to OEM pads. Usually recommended to beginners who have very little to no track experience and are looking for an upgrade over stock. Low to mid temperature range. Fade resistant. Smooth & predictable torque. Ideal for Autocross. All Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Hawk pads are designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors. 100-800 F operating temperatures. 300-600 F optimal temperature range.
