The Hawk Performance ER-1 Disc Brake Pad, part number HB193D.670, is an advanced endurance racing compound engineered for optimal performance in demanding conditions. Developed through years of testing in prestigious races, the ER-1 compound delivers a higher coefficient of friction than competing endurance pads while maintaining or improving lifespan. Key characteristics include superior rotor and pad wear, consistent medium-to-high friction, and a strong emphasis on modulation, release, and pedal communication. These pads are ideal for light-to-medium weight vehicles participating in HPDE (High Performance Driving Events), Track Day events, Time Trials, or Endurance Racing. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 400-1600°F, with an optimal range of 700-1100°F. All Hawk Performance compounds, including the ER-1, are 100% asbestos, lead, chromium, cadmium, and antimony free, and are manufactured in ISO certified facilities. It is important to note that Hawk Performance pads are designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors.
