The ER-1 compound was developed by Hawk Performance for endurance racing, aiming for a higher coefficient of friction than competing endurance pads while maintaining or improving lifespan. It offers ideal modulation and pedal communication with friction stability across a thermal range up to 1,600°F. This makes it suitable for endurance racing, HPDE, track days, time trials, and sprint racing. This is a racing brake pad application and is not recommended or designed for street use.
