The Hawk Performance HB191E.590 is a disc brake pad set engineered for demanding motorsports applications, utilizing the Blue 9012 compound. These pads are designed to significantly increase stopping power and provide a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads, delivering up to 20-40 percent more stopping power. The Blue 9012 compound offers excellent performance characteristics, including high stopping power (rated 5/5) and high performance over stock (rated 5 - Racing). They are formulated for low-to-mid temperature effectiveness with low-to-intermediate torque and are ideal for road racing, rally, and circle track applications. These pads are categorized as 'Track Only' due to their high performance and dust levels. While they offer a durable solution for racing, they are not intended for standard street use as a primary application, though they are described as having a 'Street' application within the motorsports context and providing less brake dust than some alternatives.
