The Hawk Performance HB458Z.642 rear brake pads are engineered with a Performance Ceramic compound, designed for optimal performance on the street. These pads feature a linear friction profile, which enhances the effectiveness of your vehicle's ABS system, providing controlled and responsive braking. They are specifically formulated to minimize Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), ensuring a quiet and comfortable driving experience. These brake pads are built to be gentle on rotors, promoting extended rotor life and reducing the need for frequent replacements. The Performance Ceramic compound is known for its stable friction output, even under varying temperature conditions, with an optimal operating range of 100-450°F and a maximum range of 100-650°F. They also produce ultra-low dust output, keeping your wheels cleaner for longer. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors and are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors.
