The Standard Motor Products RY-1085 Hazard Warning and Turn Signal Flasher is engineered to deliver dependable control for your vehicle's signaling functions. It features five male blade terminals and operates on a 12-volt system, with no connector included. This flasher serves as a critical component for maintaining vehicle safety, addressing common issues such as rapid blinking or non-functioning turn signals and hazard lights. Its function is to regulate the flashing pattern of these lights, and replacement is often the solution for malfunctions. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) like B1000, B1001, and B1002 may indicate a need to inspect or replace this flasher. Specifically designed as a factory-correct replacement, the RY-1085 is compatible with a range of Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz models. Vehicle applications include the Chrysler Crossfire (2004-2007) with a 3.2L V6 engine, and various Mercedes-Benz C-Class and SLK models from the late 1990s to early 2000s, such as the C230 (1997-2000), SLK230 (1998-2004), SLK320 (2001-2004), SLK32 AMG (2002-2004), C280 (1994, 2000), and C43 AMG (2000).
