The VIS Racing HC Style carbon fiber hood is a high-performance replacement panel designed for 2008-2022 Dodge Challenger 2-door models. Manufactured with Grade-A carbon fiber material, each unit utilizes a two-part construction design featuring a top layer bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating. In 2014, the manufacturing process was upgraded to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which results in a component that is 10-20% lighter than traditional lay-ups while maintaining superior durability. Installation of this hood requires specific attention to hardware and vehicle components to ensure proper safety and fitment. Because of the intended performance use of this aftermarket hood, hood pins are required for installation. It is critical that users do not reuse the stock hood strut, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these can exert excessive pressure and cause the hood material to crack. This product is intended for off-road use only unless local and state laws dictate otherwise. Each piece comes with an official VIS badge of authenticity to ensure product quality.
