Overview

The AmeriHood HC Style hood is a functional ram air hood designed as a replacement for the factory hood on the Chrysler 200.

It utilizes factory hinges and latch for installation and comes with a gel coat finish on both the top and underside for easier preparation before painting. Aluminum wire mesh grill inserts are included where applicable.

It features a functional ram air tunnel that can direct cold intake air to your performance air intake system, potentially working with popular brands like Airaid and K&N. Additionally, heat extractor vents are integrated to help dissipate hot air from the engine bay, contributing to better engine temperatures. The hood comes with a smooth gel coat finish on both the top and underside, which facilitates easier surface preparation and reduces the time needed for painting. Aluminum wire mesh grill inserts are also included where applicable, adding a finished look. It is important to note that this hood requires hand-finishing for paint preparation and fitment and is not a simple bolt-on installation. Please dry fit the product prior to performing any prep or painting work.
