The Hertz HCP 4 is a versatile four-channel car audio amplifier engineered for comprehensive sound reproduction across various musical genres. It offers flexibility in system configuration, supporting mono, three-channel (with sub and front), and stereo two-channel setups. Connectivity is facilitated through both pre-amplified (Pre-In) and high-level (Speaker-In) inputs, ensuring compatibility with virtually any head unit. Its optimized dissipation system transfers heat to the heatsink, which is then effectively dissipated through the amplifier's sides. The amplifier operates with a voltage input range of 11-15 VDC and is protected by two 20A fuses. Key specifications include selectable full-range power outputs and a wide frequency response from 10 Hz to 45 kHz. The amplifier offers various power outputs depending on the configuration and impedance, ranging from 55W x 4 (4 ohms) to 170W x 2 bridged (4 ohms) at 1% THD. It boasts a high signal-to-noise ratio of 103 dB (A-weighted @ 1V) and a damping factor of 120 (100 Hz @ 4 ohms), ensuring clean and controlled audio output. The unit measures 315 x 190 x 50 mm (12.40 x 7.48 x 1.97 inches) and weighs 2.62 kg (5.77 lbs).
