Description

Upgrade your Mazda MX-5 NA (Mk1) and NB (Mk2) with Supermiata's HD Alignment Bolts. If you've experienced a sudden loud clunk during hard braking or turning, or noticed your steering wheel centering improperly after turns (indicating fluctuating camber and toe), these bolts are a potential solution. The alignment bolts are constructed from grade 10.9 steel and have a maximum torque specification of 100 ft-lbs (135Nm). Each individual kit contains one bolt, one eccentric washer, and one self-locking nut. For a complete vehicle upgrade, it is recommended to purchase a set of eight bolts. Some sources indicate a "New Gen2 design" that is grade 12.9 with a max torque spec of 110 ft-lbs (149Nm), featuring ultra-corrosion resistant Geomet coating. These are made from 42CrMo heat-treated steel and offer greater corrosion resistance than OEM zinc electroplate. When using these Gen2 bolts on a street-only car, OEM torque specs can be used, but at 110 ft-lbs, they provide approximately 30% higher clamp load than OEM.
