HD Intercooler Upgrade Kit [5" Performance HD / 6.5" Competition HD]

The VRSF HD Intercooler Upgrade Kit is designed to replace the inefficient factory intercooler in your BMW, specifically for models equipped with the N20, N26, and N55 engines. This kit aims to maximize performance by providing superior charge air cooling. The core's design is balanced to achieve the best possible intake temperature reduction while maintaining minimal pressure drop. It is significantly more durable than the OEM tube and fin core, offering better resistance to debris. The 5" Performance HD core is capable of supporting up to 600whp, while the 6.5" Competition HD core can support up to 800whp. Installation is designed to be a quick and easy process, typically completed in under 1.5 hours, with all necessary hardware included for a direct bolt-on replacement of the OEM intercooler. The VRSF intercoolers are equipped with tabs to retain the factory fan shroud and feature CFD-optimized cast end tanks compatible with both OEM and aftermarket charge pipes that adapt to the factory intercooler piping. After pressure testing, a thermal dispersant coating is applied for leak-free operation and enhanced protection against the elements. This intercooler is compatible with Left Hand Drive (LHD) & Right-Hand Drive (RHD) models, as well as all XI models. Please note that F23/F33 models are limited to the 5" Street Core only.
