The Fram PH11583 is a heavy-duty oil filter designed for superior filtration. It features a canister style and includes both a bypass relief valve and an anti-drainback valve for optimal performance. This filter is engineered with synthetic-blend media technology to protect your engine for oil change intervals up to 10,000 miles.

Fram's heavy-duty oil filters effectively remove road dust and pollen particles ranging from 5 to 100 microns. The quality and design of the filter media are paramount to filtration performance, more so than the number of pleats or the size of the media.
