The HA3-HDR6 kit features ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with an exclusive diaphragm design for increased clamp load, reduced deflection, and maximized clutch life. Diaphragms undergo a four-stage, heat-treating process. Precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency. The 6-pad rigid race discs are made with high-quality ceramic friction materials. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. Its lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. Engagement is harsher, but shifting is faster. Recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat. It offers light to moderate pedal effort, aggressive engagement, and increased gear rattle. It has moderate friction life, extended by ACT's exclusive diaphragm design, though the rigid design may increase spline wear. The product is carefully engineered, precisely assembled, accurately balanced, and uses select ceramic friction materials for high heat tolerance and maximum performance. It is recommended for race use only and is 100% clamp load tested and dynamically computer balanced for smooth high RPM reliability.
