The Kenwood CMOS-740HDLP is a high-definition backup camera that provides a sharp, 720p visual feed when paired with compatible Kenwood multimedia receivers. It features a wide-angle 1.86mm F:2.0 lens, offering a 180-degree horizontal and 103-degree vertical field of view to help drivers monitor surroundings while reversing. Built for durability, the camera is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, ensuring reliable performance in various weather conditions. It utilizes a CMOS sensor with HDR enhancement and a 1.0 Lux sensitivity rating to maintain visibility in low-light environments. The package includes a dedicated license plate mounting bracket for secure surface-mount installation. Please note that this camera requires connection to a compatible Kenwood head unit that supports HD-TVI camera inputs to achieve its full high-definition output. It is not a standalone system and will not function with standard composite-only monitors.
