The mounts are constructed from heavy-duty rubber and feature 10mm studs, which may require slight modification (drilling) to the transmission crossmember for installation. The recommended torque specification for these mounts is 22 ft/lbs; over-tightening can lead to damage. This product is compatible with manual-transmission equipped vehicles including the 1984-1992 E30 3-Series (325e/es/i/is/ic), 1992-1998 E36 3-Series (318i/is/ti/ic, 323is/ic, 325i/is/ic, 328i/is/ic, M3), and 1997-2002 Z3 (2.3/2.5i/2.8/3.0i, M Roadster, M Coupe).
