The PowerBastards 8304-220 is a 220A HD Series high output alternator designed as a direct-fit replacement for Ford Mustang models from 2003-2004 equipped with the 4.6L V8 (281ci) VIN Y, DOHC, Supercharged engine. It offers a significant upgrade over the stock 105A alternator, providing an additional 115A for a total of 220A at 1200 RPM, with 110A available even at idle. This increased capacity is ideal for powering demanding aftermarket accessories such as high-amperage car audio systems, inverters, lighting, winches, and work equipment. The alternator is manufactured in the USA and is 100% brand new, distinguishing it from refurbished units. Each unit undergoes rigorous dyno testing before shipment to ensure full functionality and performance.
