The ARP 134-3610 High Performance Head Bolt Kit is engineered for superior clamping force, durability, and reliability in 2005 and newer GM LS engines. Manufactured from premium 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to a tensile strength of 190,000 PSI, these head bolts provide a significant upgrade over factory fasteners. ARP's distinctive thread-rolling process, performed after heat treatment, dramatically improves fatigue resistance, ensuring long-term sealing integrity for both stock and high-performance LS engine builds. This kit features precision manufacturing with exact tolerances that allow cylinder heads and gaskets to align smoothly for accurate installation and sealing. Each bolt is made from high-strength 8740 chrome moly steel. Key fitments include 2005–2013 GM Gen IV LS-based engines, with compatibility extending through 2019 on L96 engines. The bolt configuration for 2005–2013 blocks uses ten 100mm head bolts and five 45mm head bolts per side of the engine. An important fitment note specifies that this kit is intended exclusively for 2005+ applications, as GM utilized different head bolt configurations on earlier LS engines. Be advised that a 1998 LS1 with 2007 799 heads may not fit this bolt set.
