The Trick Flow® Head Bolt Bushings, part number TFS-51400419, are designed to solve compatibility issues when mating cylinder heads to engine blocks with different bolt hole sizes. Specifically, if your engine block utilizes a smaller diameter bolt than your cylinder head, these reducer bushings are the necessary component to ensure a proper fit. Constructed from durable steel with a black zinc finish, these bushings feature an outside diameter of 0.50 inches and an inside diameter of 0.44 inches. This precise sizing allows for the adaptation of 1/2 inch bolt holes in the cylinder head to accommodate 7/16 inch bolts in the engine block. Each set includes 20 bushings, providing enough for a complete installation on common V8 applications. These bushings are particularly suited for Ford small block engines, specifically the 5.0L/302, and are compatible with 1979-1995 Mustang models. The product is sold as a set of 20 and includes a CA Warning for potential legal restrictions in certain states.
