The DNJ HBK348 is a head bolt set engineered to precisely secure the cylinder head to the engine block, ensuring a critical seal for optimal engine performance, especially under extreme thermal and mechanical stress. Constructed from durable, heat-treated carbon or alloy steel, these bolts meet or exceed OEM quality standards, offering excellent strength, fatigue resistance, and stability required for long-term engine operation and gasket integrity. It is crucial to remember that Torque-To-Yield (TTY) head bolts, like these, must never be reused after initial installation, as doing so can compromise clamping force and potentially lead to engine failure. This DNJ head bolt kit is specifically designed for a range of GM vehicles from 2013-2017, including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models equipped with 2.0L and 2.5L L4 DOHC 16V turbocharged engines, identified by engine codes LCV, LKW, and LTG. One complete set is included to service the entire engine.
