The Xotic Performance head stud replacement kit is specifically designed for 2003-2007 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks, as well as 2004-2005 Ford E-350 Club Wagon and Excursion models equipped with the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine. By replacing stock torque-to-yield head bolts with these non-stretching studs, the kit provides consistent clamping force that retains cylinder seal even in engines with high-pressure turbo systems or other performance modifications. Constructed from proprietary XOTIC 7200 material, these studs offer tensile strength significantly higher than standard 8740 Chromoly steel components. The kit features studs with threads rolled after heat treatment for improved fatigue resistance and a black oxide finish for enhanced durability. Each set includes 20 head studs (M14 x 223mm), 20 nuts, 20 hardened parallel washers for uniform load distribution, fastener assembly lubricant, a specialized 18mm socket, and a 4.7mm Allen wrench. Installation includes detailed diagrams and torque recommendations in the provided manual. These studs are intended to resolve issues with cylinder head lifting and blown head gaskets commonly associated with increased horsepower output in the 6.0L Power Stroke platform.
