HEADER, 67-69 GM F-BODY, SB CHEVY, 1-3/4

These long tube headers are designed for classic 1967-1969 F-Body (Camaro/Firebird) and 1968-1972 X-Body vehicles (Nova, Omega, Ventura, Apollo) with 283-400 SB Chevy engines with standard port heads. They feature modern design for maximum ground clearance and optimized engine compartment fitment. The headers have a Darksides Black Ceramic coating, 3” long-taper collectors for smooth exhaust flow, and 1-3/4” O.D. tubes. They are compatible with straight and angle plug heads, stock manual and power steering boxes, GM 152 and 168 tooth starters, and stock A/C evaporator cases. They also work with stock floor shift automatic and manual transmissions (column shift automatics require aftermarket shift linkage), Ridetech Tru-Turn steering systems, and aftermarket large sump oil pans. Bolt-in installation is possible with new Hooker 2.5” and 3” exhaust systems using available adapters. They are constructed with slip-fit collectors and 3/8” laser-cut, TIG welded flanges with O2 bungs (and plugs) for EFI systems or air/fuel ratio meters.
