Overview

The Stainless Headers Mfg., Inc. header build kit is designed to help you construct custom headers for Chevy Colorado 5 Cylinder engines. It includes a 3/8" thick header flange, five pre-formed flange stubs, and eight 180-degree J bends made from 304 stainless steel with a .065" wall thickness. The kit also features a 5 into 1 slip-on merge collector and two weld-on O2 bungs made from 304 stainless billet.

The Stainless Headers Mfg., Inc. header build kit provides all the necessary components to fabricate custom headers for 2004-2012 Chevy Inline-5 engines, commonly found in the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. This kit is ideal for I-5 powered trucks or cars needing a bespoke exhaust solution. Included in the kit are a precision laser-cut 3/8" thick header flange with a 1.522" port size, and five pre-formed flange stubs shaped to match the flange ports, available in a 1 1/2" primary tube size. For the tubing, the kit supplies eight 180-degree J bends, each with a 6" and a 12" leg, made from genuine American-made 304 stainless steel with a .065" wall thickness, ensuring durability and superior formability and weldability. The kit also features a high-flow 5 into 1 slip-on merge collector, available with either a straight or transitional exit, both equipped with collector tabs. Additionally, it includes four primary purge caps and one collector purge cap for effective back purging, two precision-machined 304 stainless billet weld-on O2 bungs, and a 1/4 lb package of TIG filler rod. Optional V-band kits and header bolts can be added for further customization.
