Description

The SPELAB Exhaust Header is a performance upgrade designed to replace the stock exhaust manifold on Chevy SBC Small Block V8 engines from 1955 onwards, including popular displacements like 283, 305, 327, 350, and 400. Constructed from durable stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, this header utilizes 1 5/8" OD heavy-duty mandrel-bent 18-gauge tubing and features thick 5/16" head flanges designed to resist warpage. The collectors are large at 2 1/2", with 2" reducers. However, specific exclusions apply, meaning this header does NOT fit the 1971 Chevrolet Nova, 1972 Chevrolet Caprice, 1983 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sedan 4-Door 5.0L, 1984 Buick Regal, 1986 Chevrolet Caprice 5.7, 1987 Chevrolet Caprice, 1978 Chevrolet Corvette, or the 1973 Chevrolet Nova Base 5.7L 350. To maximize performance gains, it is recommended to pair this exhaust header with a high-flow Small Block Chevy (SBC) Intake Manifold to optimize engine breathing.
