Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and manufacturing Chevy passenger cars headers for decades. Each set uses mild steel, CNC mandrel bent tubes, hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball & socket collector allows your SB Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.

These Hedman BLACK ELITE headers have a heavy-duty design that uses stout 3/8" flanges, and thicker 14 gauge tubes. The heavier-duty construction of HEDMAN BLACK ELITE Hedders makes them ideal for high-performance engines and tow vehicles, which produce higher exhaust temperatures.

BLACK ELITE models have a SATIN-BLACK ceramic finish that withstands temperatures up to 1400 degrees F. The coating looks great, and keeps more heat in the tubes. This results in faster exhaust speeds for improved exhaust scavenging, and reduced underhood temperatures.

These MID-LENGTH tube headers are one of the most versatile headers Hedman manufacturers. While we've seen them on rare builds, like a SB Chevy equipped Studebaker, these MID-LENGTH headers are actually cataloged to fit Small Block Chevy V8 powered, 1967-81 Chevy Camaros; 1964-1987 GM A-Body and G-Body vehicles (Buick Regal, Chevy Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix); '68-79 Chevy II/Nova. They even fit 1984-2004 Chevy AstroVans. The smooth 1-5/8 in tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and improve horsepower and torque over stock manifolds.

Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.

Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The ceramic-metallic coating is covered by a 5-year factory warranty, in addition to Hedman's standard lifetime header warranty.
