These Hedman Hedders 69493 headers are designed for installing a Small Block Chevy 283-400 (Gen 1) engine into 1982-1993 Chevy S10/Blazer and GMC S15/Jimmy trucks. They feature handcrafted mild steel construction, a long tube, under-chassis design, and a ball & socket collector. The headers are finished with a high-temperature, satin-black ceramic coating (Black-Maxx coated) that resists corrosion and withstands temperatures up to 1400°F. They include gaskets, header flange bolts, collector bolts, and reducers. Hedman Hedders backs these with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on construction and a 5-year warranty on the coating. This part is recommended for installation with Trans-Dapt Performance Product's #4690 engine swap mount kit, Turbo 350, and 168 tooth flywheel. They are compatible with power steering and air conditioning, and fit factory GM aluminum angle plug and straight plug heads, as well as automatic (floor shift) or manual (floor shift) transmissions.
