The Infinity Reference 6530cx is a 6-1/2" (160mm) component speaker system engineered to provide Infinity's signature sound in a wide range of vehicles. The system includes oversized Plus One™ woofers, which utilize Harman's patented architecture to offer more cone surface area. This design results in higher sensitivity, increased low-frequency output, and more accurate music reproduction, enhancing both bass and midrange performance. The Reference 6530cx system includes a pair of woofers, a pair of tweeters, and a pair of crossovers. For installation flexibility, the larger component systems offer an adjustable tweeter output level control. This allows users to optimize high-frequency response based on the specific installation location or personal listening preferences. The speakers are designed with newly engineered baskets that are optimized to fit most factory speaker locations, facilitating an easier upgrade path from stock sound systems. With a power handling of 90W RMS and 270W peak, and a sensitivity of 93dB (@ 2.83V), these speakers are built for robust audio performance. The frequency response ranges from 53Hz to 21kHz, covering a broad spectrum of audio frequencies. The impedance is rated at 3.0 ohms. The package includes all necessary components for installation, such as speaker grilles, woofer mounting brackets, tweeter mounting accessories (surface and flush mount), and various hardware like screws, speed clips, and foam mounting tape.
