The 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System (39008) is a comprehensive kit engineered to revive the clarity of cloudy, yellowed, or hazed plastic lenses on your vehicle. This system utilizes advanced 3M™ abrasive technology, including Trizact™ discs with microreplication, to effectively remove surface imperfections without causing further scratches. The progressive sanding and refining process, coupled with rubbing compound and a protective wax, restores crucial night-time visibility and enhances the appearance of your vehicle. This kit provides all the necessary components to restore two headlight lenses. It includes a disc pad holder, 3M™ Gold Sanding Discs (500 grit), 3M™ White Finishing Discs (800 grit), a 3M™ Trizact™ Refining Disc, 3M™ Rubbing Compound (1 US fl oz), and 3M™ Synthetic Wax Protectant. Masking tape is also included to protect surrounding painted surfaces during the restoration process. The drill-activated sanding process can be completed in as little as an hour.
