The Dropbear LLC B6A-HX Race Spec Heat Exchanger is engineered to significantly reduce charged air temperatures in Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models equipped with the VR30DDTT engine. It directly addresses the thermal limitations of the factory heat exchanger, which features a small core and plastic end tanks. This upgraded unit boasts a 28mm core, providing a 225% increase in thickness and a greater external fin surface area compared to the OEM component. The all-aluminum construction, combined with TIG welding, ensures enhanced durability and longevity. Key features of the B6A-HX include its significantly larger size, being 225% thicker than the original equipment. The premium construction utilizes lightweight aluminum, and a high-density fin core is implemented for optimal cooling performance. A corrosion-resistant black coating provides a durable finish for long-lasting use. The enhanced design also includes a larger coolant capacity, making it thicker and taller than the OEM version, supported by advanced core technology for improved airflow and cooling efficiency. This heat exchanger is specifically compatible with Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models from 2016 and newer, featuring the VR30DDTT engine. A bleeder valve is incorporated on the opposite side of the fill port to facilitate easier installation and bleeding of the cooling system. These advancements collectively contribute to a reduction of up to 25°F in outlet temperatures, ensuring cooler charged air for improved engine performance.
