Heat Exchanger

The Merc Racing MR6HE is a high coolant capacity, one-gallon water volume heat exchanger engineered to address the advanced cooling needs of Audi's air-to-water-cooled turbo and supercharged applications. This unit expands upon the factory cooling system, offering superior performance for stock, upgraded, or higher boost tuned applications. Its patented design maximizes the use of available space to ensure excellent cooling capacity and delivers amazing results. Constructed from all-aluminum with hand TIG welded components, the MR6HE features a high-density fin core for exceptional heat dissipation. The end tanks are finished with a durable black satin/matte coating, providing resistance to road debris, corrosion, and easy cleaning. It includes a 1/4″ NPT bleed port to aid in air removal during installation and utilizes 3/4″ tubes for efficient coolant flow. The overall dimensions are W 24″ x H 18″ x D 2.4″ (excluding side tubes). This heat exchanger is compatible with a range of Audi models including the S6, S7, A7, A6, Q5, SQ5, S4, and S5. Mounting hardware, including side mounting brackets and bolts for crash bar installation, along with self-tapping screws, are included for a straightforward installation process.
