The CTS Turbo Heat Exchanger Upgrade is a premium AWIC kit designed to combat heat soak in modified V6 supercharged Audi S4, S5, Q5, and SQ5 3.0TFSI vehicles. By replacing the restrictive factory cooler, this upgrade significantly reduces intake air temperatures by an estimated 10F-12F and also lowers coolant temperatures, helping to maintain consistent power output even under extreme conditions. Constructed with an efficient, lightweight design, the heat exchanger features a triple-pass core and does not require an additional coolant pump. It is engineered using the latest 3D scanning technology to ensure a complete replacement for the factory part and offers an easy installation with a perfect fit. The kit includes the heat exchanger itself (24″ x 17″ x 2.5″), brackets, hardware, coolant hose, hose connectors, and hose clamps. This upgrade is strongly recommended for vehicles equipped with Stage 2 tunes and above. While installation is designed to be straightforward, it's important to note that some 2010-2012 B8 S4 vehicles equipped with Audi Drive Select (ADS) may require an additional oil cooler for the ADS system. This is typically found on early models with Dynamic Steering and Dynamic Suspension.
