Description

The VIS Racing heat extractor hood provides a lightweight, durable alternative to the factory panel for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang 2-door models. Manufactured using a vacuum infusion process, these hoods offer a 10-20% weight reduction compared to previous versions while maintaining structural integrity. The construction utilizes a two-part design, featuring a carbon fiber top layer bonded with high-grade epoxy resin to a smooth, one-piece underside shell. Each piece is finished with a Poly Shield UV-protective polyurethane coating for a lasting high-gloss finish. This hood is strictly for off-road use only unless local and state laws specify otherwise. Due to the nature of this performance product, the use of hood pins is required for proper installation.
