Heat Protection Tape

The DEI Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Tape is a versatile solution for protecting vulnerable engine components from extreme heat. Constructed from a state-of-the-art polymer laminated glass cloth, this tape offers excellent thermal shielding, particularly from heat generated by exhaust manifolds, headers, or turbochargers. Its gold color is not just aesthetic but also signifies its high heat-reflective properties. With a length of 30 feet and a width of 1.5 inches, it can be easily cut to size to fit various applications. It is rated to withstand operating temperatures of up to 850°F and reflects 80% of all radiant heat, making it ideal for protecting sensitive areas. The Reflect-A-GOLD tape can be applied to a wide range of engine bay components, including valve covers (especially near exhaust manifolds), intercooler piping, intercoolers, firewalls, the underside of hoods, intake manifolds, intake shields or boxes, and the tops of radiators.
