Constructed from high-temperature resistant fiberglass material with a .0625-inch thickness, it features a reflective aluminized Mylar surface. This heat screen can withstand up to 1200°F of direct heat and 2000°F of radiant heat.

This flexible matting, measuring 36 inches by 20 inches, can be trimmed to size, making it adaptable for a variety of applications. Its primary function is to reflect radiant heat away from sensitive areas within a vehicle's interior or components, preventing damage and improving comfort. Constructed from a high-temperature resistant fiberglass material with a thickness of .0625 inches, the Heat Screen features a superior reflective aluminized glass fiber surface. This material is capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1200°F and radiant heat up to 2000°F, offering robust protection against extreme temperatures. The material has an adhesive backing for secure installation. This heat screen is ideal for protecting painted surfaces from blistering, shielding components where exhaust pipes are in close proximity to fuel tanks, and can be applied to floorboards, body panels, or underneath carpeting. For sealing and covering seams, DEI's Cool Tape is recommended. It's important to note that this product should NOT be applied directly to exhaust components.
