The Ramair PRORAM induction kit is a full performance upgrade for diesel VAG vehicles with the MQB chassis, specifically designed to improve the breathing of the VW Golf MK7 2.0 TDI and GTD. This kit replaces all of the restrictive factory intake pipework, extending right back to the turbo inlet. At its core is Ramair's PRORAM synthetic nanofiber air filter, which is designed with a twin-tangential velocity stack to optimize airflow and minimize turbulence. The filter is easy to clean using the separately available maintenance kit (CK-003). A CNC laser-cut heat shield, finished in black powder coat, is included to prevent hot engine bay air from reaching the filter, thus maintaining low intake temperatures and ensuring denser, more oxygen-rich air enters the engine. This contributes to improved performance. The kit comes complete with all necessary nuts, bolts, brackets, and updated fitting instructions, with every kit undergoing a double inspection for completeness. In addition to potential power increases, users can expect a more noticeable and purposeful induction sound under acceleration.
