Heat Shield Tape

Constructed from a metalized polyimide laminated glass cloth, it features a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive, making it suitable for extreme temperature environments. Its applications include protecting firewalls, bulkheads, engine covers, floors, and seat bottoms. The material can handle continuous temperatures up to 800°F and offers resistance to UV degradation for enhanced durability. The adhesive is protected by a release liner rated for temperatures up to 325°F. Specifications include a thickness of 0.0065 inches, a width of 2 inches, and a length of 30 feet. The tape has a radiant heat resistance of 850°F and an adhesive heat resistance of 325°F. It is important to note that this product should NOT be applied directly to exhaust components.
