Heat Shield Tape

Its construction utilizes a metalized polyimide laminated glass cloth paired with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive, making it suitable for extreme temperature swing environments. This tape offers significant thermal protection, capable of withstanding continuous temperatures up to 800°F and providing 850°F of radiant heat resistance. The adhesive backing is protected by a release liner and rated for temperatures up to 325°F. The material itself is only 0.0065 inches thick, ensuring it is lightweight and easy to apply without lifting off. It also offers resistance to UV degradation, ensuring lasting performance. The Reflect-A-GOLD™ tape is highly versatile and can be applied to a wide range of components and areas, such as firewalls, bulkheads, engine covers, floors, and seat bottoms. It is proudly made in the U.S.A. It is important to note that this product should *not* be applied directly to exhaust components.
