Heat Shield Tape

The DEI Reflect-A-GOLD is a versatile heat reflective tape engineered from a state-of-the-art metalized polyamide polymer laminated glass cloth. It features a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive, making it ideal for use in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations. The material is lightweight, flexible, and easy to apply or remove, with an adhesive protected by a release liner rated for up to 325°F. This heat barrier tape is highly effective in protecting critical components from radiant heat generated by exhaust manifolds, headers, or turbochargers. Common applications include wrapping fuel lines, wire bundles, intercoolers, oil pans, firewalls, engine covers, bulkheads, and seat bottoms. Its low profile means virtually no clearance is needed after installation. The tape is sold in a 1.5-inch by 30-foot roll, allowing users to trim it to the exact size needed for various applications, such as valve covers, intercooler piping, firewalls, the underside of hoods, intake manifolds, intake shields, and radiator tops.
