Heat / Sound Insulator Firewall - 2001-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax - Silver

The PPE Heat & Sound Insulator Firewall is designed to upgrade and replace worn or damaged firewall insulation in 1999-2007 Duramax diesel engines. This custom-fit replacement creates a barrier between the engine and the cabin, reducing both heat and sound transfer. It features merrowed stainless steel wire edging for enhanced durability and grommets for an OEM-like fit. The insulator's core is made of ceramic fiber, sandwiched between a tightly woven silicone fiberglass outer fabric and a woven silica inner panel. This combination of materials and construction provides temperature resistance up to 1,290 degrees Fahrenheit.
