The Hondata Heatshield Intake Manifold Gasket is engineered to reduce heat soak and improve performance in Honda K24Z3 and K24Z7 engines. Crafted from a high-temperature insulating plastic, this gasket replaces the stock unit to minimize heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold. By keeping intake air cooler and denser, the gasket supports up to a 5% increase in power. This gasket is compatible with a range of Honda and Acura vehicles, including the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si, 2009-2013 Acura TSX, 2008-2012 Honda Accord, 2010-2014 Honda CR-V, and 2013-2015 Acura ILX. On average, real-world testing shows a 10°C temperature drop, with potential reductions of up to 30°C in certain driving conditions. This translates to improved engine efficiency, consistency, and throttle response. Each kit includes the insulating gasket and detailed installation instructions. A race-only version is also available for those seeking to bypass the throttle body and idle control valve heating systems for maximum performance gains.
