Heavy Duty 1000mm Torsion Bar Set

The Dobinsons TB21-1548 is a set of 1000mm heavy-duty torsion bars engineered to enhance front-end suspension performance and ride height. With an increased spring rate, the Dobinsons heavy-duty torsion bars significantly improve handling and lift while reducing suspension bottoming. They are designed as a direct replacement for OE torsion bars, requiring no modifications for installation. The bars feature cold-rolled splines for superior strength and reliability, ensuring a perfect fit. A durable, thick powdercoat finish provides protection against corrosion, extending the lifespan of the components. Dobinsons torsion bars are directionally preset and scragged to prevent sagging and breakage under load. For correct installation, they are precisely marked for left/right hand side and front/rear fitment. Improper installation on the incorrect side or orientation can lead to damage, as the bars are specifically set for their intended direction of load application. Installation should also consider a 2/3 suspension down travel and 1/3 up travel ratio to ensure optimal ride quality.
