This heavy-duty cast aluminum transmission pan is designed to address excessive heat issues in transmissions. It offers 2.2 quarts of additional fluid capacity compared to the factory pan, aiding in heat management. The pan features deep external cooling fins for maximum heat dissipation and increased impact resistance. Built-in baffles at the bottom enhance heat transfer, reduce fluid sloshing, and ensure consistent fluid pickup. Unlike the factory plastic pan, it uses a replaceable filter (SKU 228058600) for easier and more cost-effective fluid services. The drain plug is equipped with a powerful neodymium magnet to capture ferrous metal particles. The external cooling fins are machined for clearance with the exhaust cross pipe in 3.6L V6 applications.
