This kit combines ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate with their most popular street disc. The Heavy Duty pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to boost clamp load, minimize deflection, and extend clutch longevity, with diaphragms undergoing a four-stage heat-treating process for superior performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency in the pressure plate construction. The Performance Street disc incorporates premium organic friction materials, noted for their high copper content to improve heat transfer, and a durable steel-backed lining for enhanced burst strength and longevity. These discs are designed with reduced marcel to facilitate faster shifting, complementing the ACT pressure plate for increased strength and reliability. This clutch kit is recommended for both street and race applications, offering light to moderate pedal effort, smooth positive engagement, and OE to mild gear rattle. It is 100% clamp load tested and dynamically computer balanced for reliable high RPM performance. Key specifications for this kit include a torque capacity of 415 ft-lbs, representing a 47% increase over OE.
