The ACT Heavy Duty Street Sprung Clutch Kit (ZX4-HDSS) is engineered for drivers seeking enhanced performance and longevity from their drivetrain. This comprehensive kit features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. The accompanying Performance Street disc is crafted with premium organic friction materials, high copper content for superior heat transfer, and a steel-backed lining for exceptional burst strength and durability. With a rated torque capacity of 449 ft/lbs (51% over OE), this clutch kit is designed to handle increased power output. The engagement is described as smooth with light to moderate pedal effort, offering OE to mild gear rattle. The design also aims for longer friction life and quicker shift action, complementing the robust ACT pressure plate. The kit is precisely assembled and dynamically computer balanced for reliable high-RPM performance. Included in this complete kit are the ACT XACT Prolite Clutch Flywheel, the ACT Heavy Duty Clutch Pressure Plate, the ACT Performance Street Sprung Clutch Disc, an ACT Clutch Alignment Tool, an ACT Clutch Release Bearing, and an ACT Clutch Pilot Bearing. This ensures you have all the necessary components for a successful installation. This clutch kit is specifically designed for the 2007-2013 Mazda 3 and the 2006-2007 Mazda 6. The pressure plate bolts are included (M8-1.25 x 16mm).
