Overview

The M7 Speed heavy duty skid plate is designed for the 2011-2016 Generation 2 R60 Countryman and R61 Paceman. It is constructed from 3/16" (4.8 mm) thick military-grade aluminum plate. This skid plate protects the MINI Cooper's engine and transmission oil pans from damage caused by road debris, speed bumps, rocks, and other objects.

The M7 Speed Heavy Duty Skid Plate is engineered for the 2011-2016 Generation 2 MINI Cooper R60 Countryman and R61 Paceman. This skid plate is a functional work of art, CAD designed and CNC computer laser cut in the USA from durable 3/16" (4.8 mm) thick military-grade aluminum plate. Critical undercarriage components like your MINI Cooper's engine and transmission oil pans are typically made of thin sheet metal and plastic, making them susceptible to cracking or puncturing from road debris, speed bumps, rocks, or even tree stumps. This skid plate provides essential protection against such damage, regardless of your MINI's stock, lifted, or lowered height. Key features include a one-piece construction from 5052 military-grade aluminum, direct bolt-on installation using existing sub-frame and undercarriage holes, and TIG welded stiffening flanges for vibration-free operation. It also incorporates cooling vents for improved underhood airflow and easy oil drain plug access, eliminating the need for skid plate removal during oil changes. The smooth, raw aluminum finish ensures it will never rust. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in under 60 minutes with simple hand tools. It can also increase front downforce for improved handling at moderate to high speeds on lowered vehicles. This skid plate is made to fit with the M7 Speed Bull Bar Kit 60-540200.
