Overview

The ACT Heavy-Duty Clutch Kit is a performance clutch designed to significantly increase torque capacity with a 20 to 50 percent increase in clamp load over OEM. This kit features a 9.449-inch, 6-paddle ceramic disc with a sprung hub and a diaphragm pressure plate. It includes a throwout bearing, alignment tool, and a steel roller bearing pilot bushing.

The ACT ZX3-HDG6 clutch kit is engineered for demanding performance driving, featuring ACT's robust Heavy Duty pressure plate. This component utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load and minimize deflection, contributing to extended clutch lifespan. Each diaphragm undergoes a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process to ensure peak performance and durability. The kit's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc is specifically designed to absorb torsional vibrations effectively, preventing premature failure even under extreme conditions. The spring retainers are built with wraparound spring windows and reinforced stampings for superior support and reliability. While this configuration provides quicker shifts, expect a harsher clutch engagement, making it suitable for performance-oriented drivers seeking rapid gear changes. The ZX3-HDG6 clutch kit offers a torque capacity of 514 Nm.
