It incorporates chassis fixing points for strength and reliability during winching, recovery, or off-road impacts.

The Terrafirma TF090A is a heavy-duty rear bumper engineered specifically for the Discovery 2 models from 1998 to 2004. It closely replicates the original bumper's profiles, angles, and contours, ensuring a seamless aesthetic integration with the vehicle's lines. It also allows for the fitment of standard towing equipment, receiver hitches, fuel tank guards, and detachable hitch kits. While designed with off-road use in mind, priority was given to recovery and jacking points over integrated lighting or parking sensors. However, it does incorporate the original rear lights and provides the option to retro-fit parking sensors if required. Note that swivel recovery eyes are not included with this bumper.
